What parents want to know
kidConnect keeps your bill under control. If the included nationwide Whenever Minutes® are used up, the plan limits the calls your kids can make or receive so they can’t incur extra charges. However, your kids can always call you on your T-Mobile phone, (plus anyone nationwide on the T-Mobile network), access voicemail, and dial 911 in an emergency. If your kids are out of Whenever Minutes and can’t wait until their next set of included minutes start, they can top up by purchasing refill minutes for the same rate as their plan minutes.
What kids want to know
Your kidConnect plan includes an allotted number of nationwide Whenever Minutes each month, plus unlimited in-network calling nationwide. (Note: some plans may also include messaging and unlimited weekend calling nationwide). If you use up your Whenever Minutes in a given month, the plan limits the calls you can make or receive so that you won’t incur extra charges. Even when you have used your Whenever Minutes allotment, you can still talk to your parents on their T-Mobile phones, (plus anyone nationwide on the T-Mobile network), access voicemail, and call 911 in an emergency.
You can communicate the way you want with kidConnect: you can talk, text, or send picture messages and your account will automatically update to show your remaining balance.
* Note: If you sign up for a plan that includes messaging, or add a messaging bundle to your account, Whenever Minutes will only be traded after the included messages have been used. Included Whenever Minutes are reset each month at the beginning of your billing cycle, but you can add more at any time with a T-Mobile Refill card if you run out.
